The Heartbeat of Madrid

Premium small group tour – Hidden treasures of the capital

(100% Accessible Experience)

When I first walked through the cobblestone streets of Madrid's city center, I immediately understood: this city is not just a collection of beautiful buildings, but a living, breathing history book. The walls whisper secrets, and every corner hides another fascinating story. However, to truly immerse ourselves in the cultural essence of the Spanish capital, more is needed than a simple map. This magic is what I want to share with you now.

I’d like to show you the most beautiful corners of Madrid, but not on a rushed, superficial tourist route. I invite you to join an exceptionally comfortable and fully accessible walking tour, where our expert guide—the incredibly kind, professional, and endlessly patient Laura—will accompany you throughout the city. She is the local tour guide who ensures that you can focus entirely on Madrid’s stunning beauty and fascinating historical stories, free from any logistical burdens.

Kényelmes séta Madridban
Slow tempo

I know that the perfect city tour lies in the details and the right pace. That's why we've designed a slow itinerary (ritmo pausado) tailored to your needs, where there's always time to stop, rest, and take in the sights.

Kulturális útvonal

Our route will take us past the city's most iconic sights:
• Opera Square: We begin our journey here, where the true cultural pulse of Madrid is most palpable.
• Royal Palace (Királyi Palota): Our walk will lead us to one of Europe's most impressive royal residences (Important: on this tour, we will admire the palace only from the outside).

Történelmi negyedek

• Almudena Cathedral: We will take a look at this architectural masterpiece, which is one of the city's most prominent religious sites.
• La Latina Neighborhood: Immerse yourself in one of the city's oldest neighborhoods, where the authentic historical atmosphere is almost palpable.
• Plaza Mayor: Your tour concludes in Madrid's lively, vibrant central square, which has been the heart of city life for centuries.

Capacity and Special Needs

To ensure personalized, exclusive attention, the program will be held in small groups (grupo reducido). A minimum of 4 participants is required for the tour to take place, and the maximum group size is strictly limited to 10 people. In the spirit of accessibility (100%), up to 3 of these 10 participants may join in a wheelchair.

Arrival, meeting point, and escort

We take care of every detail: the day before the tour, our guide (Laura) will send you a precise and detailed description of the meeting point via message, and will also provide her direct phone number so you can contact her immediately in case of any unforeseen event.

The Meeting Point: Madrid, at the exit of the Ópera metro station (which is a fully accessible station). Opposite the exit, approximately 25 meters away, is the statue of Queen Isabella II (estatua de la Reina Isabel II).

How to recognize your guide? Laura will be waiting for you exactly at this statue, holding a small but easily recognizable pirate flag (bandera pirata). The official service will begin precisely at the moment you meet the guide at the designated location.

The duration of the tour, delays, and route changes

The comfortable, leisurely guided tour is approximately 2 hours long. Please arrive on time! In case of lateness, an additional surcharge (recargo) will be applied after the waiting time, and in such cases, we unfortunately cannot guarantee an extension of the 2-hour tour duration. If you arrive at the location earlier than scheduled, it is not guaranteed that the guide will be available before the given start time.

Important Note: As we are walking through a vibrant, bustling metropolis, we reserve the right to modify the route due to unforeseen external circumstances beyond our control, such as unexpected road closures or street events (cortes de calles o eventos).

Cancellation and Modification Terms

Since we reserve spots for small group tours and your guide's time specifically for you, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • If you cancel more than 7 days before the service begins, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
  • If you cancel between 7 days and 24 hours in advance, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, as well as no-shows at the designated time and location, are unfortunately non-refundable.
